“Filey Bay is the first single malt whisky produced in and from Yorkshire. Why “Yorkshire?” Because we create it from field to bottle, here on the coast. All single malt whiskies produced by Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery will be called Filey Bay.”

This is how the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery presents its whiskies, one of the very few distilleries in the UK that has full control over all stages of production.

– How will the tasting take place?
The tasting will consist of four Whiskies alternating with four of our beers and paired with two Briciole® and two different dishes prepared by our kitchen.

/ Whisky: FILEY BAY YORKSHIRE SINGLE MALT WHISKY , 46% vol.
/ Beer: Guerrilla
/ Crispy chicken breast strips

/ Whisky: FILEY BAY MOSCATEL FINISH, 46% vol.
/ Beer: Giant Step
/ Crumb “No more treats for Ettore”.

/ Whisky: FILEY BAY FLAGSHIP, 46%.
/ Beer: Magma Bianco 2018
/ Crumb “Smoke House”

/ Whisky: FILEY BAY STR FINISH, 46%.
/ Beer: Mansueto Reserve Bourbon 2018
/ Tiramisu with Mansueto reduction and Whisky

– How much does it cost and what do I have to do to participate?
The tasting has a total cost of € 38 and can only be purchased in our shop.
The tasting will take place on the first floor in the Casana, we ask you to bring your ticket order confirmation email with you.

– What time will the tasting begin?
We will start at 20.30: as an aperitif we will taste together, for the first time, our classic method beer, accompanied by our neutral Birciola®.
