In 2017, our first encounter with the “Master,” considered by many as one of the absolute best distillers, sparked our fascination with the world of spirits.

Meeting the Master was a turning point for us: before, the world of spirits was a simple pleasure, and afterward, it definitively planted the idea of creating our own spirits someday.

From that initial encounter, more followed, increasingly frequent, leading to the realization of Crak’s first Distillate in collaboration with Capovilla.

In 2020, we ventured to Tuscany at the Nannoni Distillery to meet Priscilla Occhipinti, a globally recognized Master Distiller. Drawn in by her enthusiasm and vast knowledge, we created our initial Gink recipes, the gin of Crak.

In the same year, we brought to life a dream that had been tucked away, a dream that needed at least three years of aging in barrels before we could realize it: Crak’s first Italian Whisky.

This dream led us to “that day” we had been eagerly awaiting. Today, we present our new project: Crak Distillery.

With Crak Distillery, we enter a new phase in the production of our spirits, a result of close collaboration with Priscilla and the Master.

We start with our first Italian Whisky. We fermented our 100% farm-grown barley, distilled it, and aged it for three years in ex-wine barrels (Ornellaia).

Italian Whisky is also accompanied by its more prestigious version, “Full Proof,” bottled at full strength as it was in the barrel, without dilution to fully enjoy its three years of barrel rest.

We’ve also taken a significant step forward with our Ginks, introducing three new recipes: the London Dry Gin, the Calimax Coffee Gin, and the Dry Hopped Gin, which stands out due to our boundless love for hops, produced with our experimental hops in distillation.

Crak Distillery is a new journey, one we will always undertake with the spirit of Crak.
