Beer of the year 2026

We return from the most important competition in Italy with the awareness that the research path we’re pursuing in the brewery is paying off. Once again this year, the stage in Rimini brought us great satisfaction with five new awards.

It’s confirmation of the daily work we put into every style — from spontaneous fermentations to our beloved hop-forward beers, all the way to the most demanding technical challenges.

CRAK’s awards at Birra dell’Anno 2026:

Tropical Gose – Gold Medal 🥇
Schwarz After Sauna – Silver Medal 🥈
Pontarola Riserva 2019 – Silver Medal 🥈
Mansueto Riserva 2024 Bourbon – Bronze Medal 🥉
Mundaka Zero – Bronze Medal 🥉

A special mention goes to Mundaka Zero. While its first medal in 2024 came in a generic category, this year it was awarded in the new category dedicated exclusively to Alcohol Free beers. For us, this is a fundamental sign: it proves that you can craft a non-alcoholic beer while preserving the character and quality we strive for in every one of our productions.
