Guerrilla® confirms its place for the third year in a row among the year’s finest beers—an extraordinary achievement that rewards our commitment to quality hop expression and long-term consistency. Giant Step, with 91 points, also reaffirms its standing among the top, continuing a story of bold aromatics and strong character, always and only in cans.
These awards also confirm the exceptional quality of the 2024 hop harvest, carefully selected and used to express its full aromatic potential.
What is the Finest Beer Selection?
Think of it as an authoritative guide dedicated to beer, inspired by the major wine rating systems (such as Parker or Wine Spectator). The Finest Beer Selection is designed to provide a reliable compass for breweries, industry professionals, and enthusiasts.
The competition is organized by two key players in the beer world: Doemens, the only school in the world authorized to award the international title of Biersommelier, and Meininger Verlag, a German publishing group specializing in the beverage industry.
What makes this selection unique is its methodology: beers are blind tasted by an international panel of 50 experts, who create a detailed sensory profile for each one. Every beer is rated on a 1 to 100 scale, and only those scoring above 90 points are included in the exclusive annual selection.
