World Bee Day
If reading “Guerrilla” backwards is difficult, imagine what it would be like to live without bees.
May 20th marks World Bee Day, a day dedicated to reminding us of the importance of fighting every day to protect and prevent the extinction of these incredible and vital pollinators.
Without bees, our environment would be significantly less diverse and colorful. The plants that provide food and nourishment for wildlife would vanish, thereby endangering the entire ecosystem.
In our efforts to contribute to safeguarding the essential link in the food chain, we have reached the fourth year of our apiary’s existence, and in 2023, we have installed a total of forty beehives.
On May 20th, for the past four years, we have marked a date on our calendar (World Bee Day) to raise a toast to the bees with Allirreug and remind ourselves of the importance of fighting every day to protect and prevent their extinction, as well as that of all pollinating insects.
Because if reading “Guerrilla” backward is difficult, just try to imagine the difficulties of living in a world turned upside down and disfigured by their absence. If the bees disappear, in four years (info), what we eat will vanish, and what we love will perish.
Fighting for our survival doesn’t just mean resisting and fighting a personal threat, but also protecting those who, from a distance, safeguard our lives.
