After several meetings: in Russia, after the legendary Tallin Craft Beer Weekend (organized by Põhjala’s friends), Craft Brewers Conference, participation at Hunahpu’s Day, this time, Sean Sasscer, came to celebrate with us the Woodscrak and we created this Imperial Stockholm with a massive dose of Cocoa beans and we gently added a mixture of chillies from Italy and the USA.

MIDNIGHT BBQ is our new Collaboration Beer with friends of Sleeping Village.
During the release day of our previous collab, After Sauna, we created MIDNIGHT BBQ, a Spelt IPA, 7.5% vol., characterised by the use of 25% malted spelt that gives it a more pronounced creaminess than the “classic” NEIPA . Hopped with Loral, Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy.
Note: The name celebrates real events, a midnight BBQ in the Norwegian fjords with our friends of Sleeping Village.

Lascia o Raddoppia
CRAK + MASTINO

It was a while since we wanted to brew together with Mauro from Mastino, an opportunity to spend a day among “neighbors” (CRAK – Padova / Mastino – Verona) and do what we love, brew a beer.
The sultry heat of Po valley, Lascia o Raddoppia, a Session IPA da 3,5% Vol. hopped with a mix of american hops, Citra, Mosaic, Loral and Amarillo and german hops, Comet and Merkur, double dry hopped with Loral and Merkur, fermented with Vermont yeast.
The graphics are inspired by the advertising of the famous italian game show of the 50s Lascia o Raddoppia, “you can decide not to drink it, but if you risk you will drink at least twice!”


CRYO ADULT

With Stuart from Magic Rock we have brewed and “Adult” version of Cryo Baby.
With this growth we double the ABV, Double IPA 9%, and the hop rate (Amarillo, Citra e Mosaic).

We are now in a period dominated high ABV beer that, having a greater extraction of flavours and aromas of hops, tend to amaze and capture more attention of the fans.
Despite this, together with Sam, we brewed a Session IPA, 4,0% vol., hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Loral and Ekuanot. Double dry hopped with Ekuanot and Loral fermented with Vermont yeast. Full bodied and creamy despite the low ABV.
It’s name, If you like double IPA drink 2 of THESE, was born from a playful banter during the choice of the beer recipe that we wanted to create together, we were undecided between a Double IPA and a Session IPA.
The label design is inspired by a famous Italian advertising of a detergent box, reinterpreting it, “If you want a double IPA, drink two of these.”


Croccante
CRAK + OTHER HALF

CROCCANTE is our new collaboration with Other Half (New York), a brewery that we consider among the best in the world and to which we are very close.
We have created a 10% Imperial Stout with a full body and a very creamy mouthfeel.
Fermented with black cherry and conditioned with the addition of vanilla, cocoa and hazelnut.
The challenge of this collaboration was to create a stout to remember one of the most famous ice creams of our childhood: “A creamy vanilla-flavored ice cream with a soft filling of black cherry, enriched with a covering of lean cocoa with pieces of hazelnuts”.
On the nose, in fact, the notes of cocoa and hazelnut stand out. In the mouth it is soft and creamy with an “amarena” filling that cleans the palate with its light acidity.


THE HUNCHBACK
CRAK + Fyne Ales

With Malcom from Fyne Ales we brewed a Double Dry Hopped Session IPA, full bodied despite the low ABV, 3% Vol.
Heavy hopped with Ekuanot, Loral and Citra and Double Dry Hopped with Citra.


Grape Soup
CRAK + GARAGE BEER

GRAPE SOUP is an IPA, DDH Citra & Mosaic – 7,5% ABV – with a massive dose of yellow Muscat from our local wine area, Colli Euganei.
The goal of this collab beer is to mix the most famous Garage beer with a local twist that come from our region, where was born the owner of Garage (Alberto), adding local yellow Muscat must during fermentation.


BV03
CR/AK + NØGNE Ø

Italian Grape Ale fermented with grape must and with the wild yeast of the marc, Cabernet and Merlot from local vineyard in Colli Euganei. Aged for 12 months in wine barrels of a local winery, Zanovello.


After Sauna

AFTER SAUNA is a 5.2% Pilsner born by combining our knowledge gained with the Local Lager and Stephen’s great experience with this kind of beer.
It is not the first time that we collaborate with Stephen Andrews. We’ve known each other since 2015 when we made our first ever collaboration, Stephen was brewer in Nøgne Ø.
We created a beer designed for the after sauna, absolutely mandatory during our trip to Norway.
This beer was produced 100% with the barley grown and malted in Bamberg.
